Sweet Potato Protein Shake


Sweet Potato Protein Smoothie

#1 Bake a sweet potato in the oven at 350*F for an hour.

#2 Once cool, peel off the skin and stick it in the fridge overnight in a paper towel or plastic baggie so it won’t ooze all over the other food in there. You can also freeze it if you want a thicker shake.

#3 In the morning, plop the tater in your blender with:

  • 1-2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds or chia seeds
  • handful of ice cubes (depending on thickness you want)
  • water
  • 1-2 scoops protein powder

I’ve also experimented with melon, pumpkin and other berries in the past and they rock too! You can’t even taste the potato.
